I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Halifax Regional
Police Youth Program website.
The Halifax Regional Police Youth Program is a program for youth between the
ages of 14 and 19 who reside within the boundaries of the Halifax Regional
Municipality.
Our program gives youth the opportunity to explore their communities and
gain valuable life experience through volunteer work with the Halifax
Regional Police.
Members are given
the opportunity to work hand in hand not only with police offices but
various other emergency services including Fire, Ambulance, and Emergency
Measures.
The skills that
members develop while working with our program will travel with them
throughout the rest of their lives regardless of what career path they
follow.
